calculate on the fly

hey all,
isn't there a way to select the a group of cells that contain numbers and
have it automatically show the sum on the status bar?

's Computer Specifications

Right click on Status Bar and tick SUM. The SUM is on the right of the bar.

right-click the Status bar and select sum
