Calander shows MIME code

When a user tries to send a calander event from their
office 2000 to a user using Office XP the appointment or
calander shows all MIME code. What is causing this to
happen.

I suspect you mean raw iCalendar code not MIME code. Is the mail server
Exchange 5.5? Are both recipients in the Exchange organization?
