I have a newly built Windows 2000 member server that is in a workgroup. One
of the pieces of software that I installed on this server was located on a
domain server. I accessed the server by entering \\servername\share from the
run line. I entered my domain credentials and installed the software. Now
when I reboot and use the same path \\servername\share Windows does not ask
me for my credentials, it simply opens the share. This is a really bad thing
as the credentials I used to access the share has "domain admin" level
rights. I've never seen this issue before and haven't been able to find
information on clearing this cached information. There is no mapped drive to
this location. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you in advance.
