Hi.

I bought a new system with Windows XP(Home Edition) as the
OS. I am trying to install the cable modem related drivers
for the internet connectivity.

Following is the hardware that I am using
Motorola Surfboard SB5100
and (software)
the drivers that came along with it.The drivers explicitly
were stated as being compatible with Windows XP.

I contacted my ISP but was directed to contact Dell(from
whom I purshased the system). They are not able to help
either.

The following are the error messages I get when trying
access any websites
bugcode_usb_driver
Bad_pool_caller


Any help will be appreciated

Sam, is using the ethernet port on that modem an option for you? Might be
an easier solution.
Are the USB Drivers for your motherboard correctly installed and
functioning. Do you have any other USB devices and are they providing you
with and are they causing any problems. Do you have any avenues of support
for this device from the ISP?
