Using Windows XP/PRO. I have Adaware+Zone Alm & Avg Anti virus[free
V].I've disabled Zone Alm & AVG,with no luck.Have used System Restore
for Years ,Prior to this Hiccup. Jim

Has a Norton application ever been installed on the machine?
