I had my computer built specifically for me last April and it has a 64 bit OS
and use VISTA.

The CA Internet Security Suit I've just paid my renewal on and attempted to
upgrade will not install.

I have been very happy with CA up until I got my new computer and regularly
updated to their new products but after a 'live' session online with their
'tech' person tonight, I've been advised the software will not work on the 64
bit OS and there are no plans for this to happen soon - most unhelpful.

Does anyone know if any or what Security software is available that would
work as well as my original CA software once did. I have struggled since
April with the CA Suite I had installed (I could only get two components to
work) and now I have nothing since acquiring the new software.

Not sure how well it works compared with the CA suite, but here is a
relatively out of date list of 64-bit compatible anti-virus programs I put

I say it is out of date because I haven't added any new ones for about six
months, and I have not run all of those myself. I have used Avast and eTrust
though, and both are acceptable.

Thanks Jesper, but I'm looking more for a complete package like CA which has
the Anti Spam, Anti Virus, Anti Spyware and Personal Firewall use.... if you
know of any software that has all these components, then your advice would be
appreciated.
