Hi,
FYI..
There has been much discussion about compatible ink jet cartridges.
There is a color chart at: www.misterinkjet.com/test_print.htm
I have printed the chart using my Epson C82 printer with OEM Epson ink
cartridges and with Jettec compatible ink cartridges.
The results were interesting. The Epson ink produced very good color,
with just some slight color shift on a couple of color blocks, but nothing
to be concerned about. The Jettec ink was just as good with some color shift
on other color blocks, but nothing notable.
I have ordered and received some compatible cartridges from Meritline. (2
blacks and one each of CMY for a total of $36.99 including shipping. I will
report the results of this ink when I have all the cartridges in my printer
which my take a while as I have quite a bit of jettec ink left in the
printer.
I know "Tony" quite often injects a plug for Jettec ink on the NG, but
I'm just reporting what I've experienced and have no affiliation with him.

Thanks for an independent opinion. But that's what it says on the box - and
then does.My comments could possibly be regarded by some as a plug but they
are always on the back of helping the apparently blocked nozzle types. I've
had the inks independently tested with exactly your results. The C80 for
instance was virtually indistinquishable from the 895 prints: apart from,
that is, the dulling effect of a pigment on darker colours compared to
glossy white. There is a test print image at www.inkylink.co.uk under paper
matters which is comprehensive.
