C0000135 error

Hi all,

I restarted my system (XP Home ed) and got a C0000135
error.

I tried to Repair Install from xp disc.
Winsrv.dll
Unicode.nls
Locale.nls
and sorttbls.nls files could not be copied from the cd.

I am considering using the repair console but I suspect
that its use is way out of my depth.

Can anyone suggest another course of action?
or supply me with the dirpaths so I can attempt to use the
repair console?
