C:\WINNT\System32 window pop up every time I log on

Hello all,

I am going out of my mind trying to figure out this one.

hardware
Dell 2400
1 GB Ram
80 GB HD

Software
Win2k Server
Service Pack 4
Window Defender 2
Mcaffe Antivirus with laterst definitions

I have performed every single update. (no more updates avaliable)

My problem is that every time i boot up and log on.. I get a window open with

C:\WINNT\System32

Any help is welcome.
