"C:\WINDOWS\PREFETCH" is empty !!! should it be ???

" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\
Memory Management\PrefetchParameters] " was set to 5 (even after clean
install) and the prefetch directory was empty so I changed it to 3 (assuming
that's both boot and application prefetch) the directory is still empty.

Should the prefetch directory be empty ?

Prefetch is fine if it stays empty.
