I am writing a c#.net 2005 desktop application and I need to take data from
sql server 2005 and and export the data to excel 2003 spreadsheets. I see
that there is a report viewer control. Can I use a report viewer control to
export the data to excel? (Note: The rows in the excel spreadsheet would be
wider that a regular 8" by 11" paper and probably wider than legal paper.)
Can the report viewer control handle this width option? If so, can you show
me some code that I use as a reference to follow? If not, can you make a
recommendation for me on what to try?
(*Note: Orignally I was going to use a crystal report object to setup the
excel spreadsheet. However I found out that you would only export the crystal
report information to excel that is only the width of 8" by 11" size paper.

thanks!

So you are basically saying the report viewer control will only produce
reports the width of 8" by 11" paper or possible the width a landscape
paper, coreect? I am saying that since you are suggesting I need to buy the
Aspose product to be able to produce reports that are wider than 'legal' size
paper correct?
