C:\RECYCLER (contains adware) invisible to Explore\folder search?

My Norton Internet Security has identified about 10 files in C:\RECYCLER that are adware. I'd like to get rid of as I'm plagued with Spyware pop-ups in Hotmail at the moment and they may be responsible.....but Search comes up with nothing found. Any ideas?
