Hi,
Windows always assume c:\ as a music folder and it enables Artist/Album
Title etc columns for view.

how do I reset it? The option to customize this folder doesn't show up
in the properties dialog box as its a system root.

Regards,
Ashutosh

From MVP Ramesh:

Try resetting the folder settings:

Click Start, Run and type C:\
Click Tools, Folder Options
In the View tab, click "Reset all folders"
Click OK.
Close the folder

Hi Malke,
Thanks for your comments! Actually I don't want to do that because I
have customized a lots of other folder and I don't want to loose
settings for that. Do you know the registry key where this setting is
stored?

Regards,
Ashutosh
