This ram eater is killing my computer (WinXP) on Pentium III Thinkpad. When I try to delete the files/folders I get the following message: Cannot Delete: Being used by another person or program. Close any ad ware programs that might be using the file. I installed several spybot scrubbers and subscribed to Ad-Aware and Register Mechanic. Neither recognize the following files as spyware or worms. HOW CAN I GET RID OF THE FOLLOWING
rmkgXlmu.wzg WZG file last modified 4/30/0
WSuys Application last modified 5/25/0
WToolsA Application last modified 5/25/0
W.ToolsC.cfg CFG file last modified 5/26/04 1:14am (long after I went to bed
W.ToolsD.cfg CFG file last modified 4/13/04 2:35am (never up at that hour
W.ToolsP.cfg CFG file last modified 5/26/04 1:15a
W.ToolsS Application file last modified 5/25/04 7:26a

None of this can be removed via the Control Panel Add/Remove Software or by clicking on the folders and deleting. Thank

Can you delete (move) this folder by using msconfig.exe to disable all
startup programs, rebooting, and then trying?

Can you boot into Safe mode and delete/move this folder?

Can you boot into Recovery Console mode to delete/move this folder?

Have you ran regedit.exe to scan for occurrences of "\Program
Files\Common Files\WinTools"? I don't know if "WinTools" has a space in
it or not because you didn't even bother to include the spaces in the
rest of the path. Have you done a file search to see if perhaps any
files have this string within them to identify any that access this
path?

You really need to configure Explorer to show filetypes (i.e.,
extensions). Was "W.ToolsS" and .exe, .com, .bat, .dll, or some other
filetype? What do you see when you right-click on these files and look
at the information under the Version tab, if there?
