Hi Michael,
Click Start, Run and type REGSVR32 /i SHELL32.DLL
This fixes the 'new window' symptom. Now to remove the redundant entries in
the right-click menu, try this:
1. Open Registry Editor and navigate to: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell]
2. Delete 'Open' sub-key if exists.
3. Navigate to this registry key : [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell]
4. Delete 'Open' sub-key if exists.
5. Close Registry Editor
Note:
'Open' and 'Explore' sub-keys should be present under this key only:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell]
