Hi all,

I've noticed a new symptom crop up which is confusing. When I take a look at
the properties of my C drive, I see that I keep getting very different
readings on how much free space I still have left on C. The properties
sometimes indicate 32 gig free and sometimes less than a gig free. It keeps
on changing all through the day with my computer on all day.

Can anyone suggest what I might check out to see troubleshoot this symptom,
or what might be causing it. I've done a full virus scan and Norton comes up
with a clear system.

try
1. put up a firewall if none
2 download and install the anti-spyware from microsoft - then scan
3 tried also selecting all folders on c drive, then right click properties
and see the space consumed compared to that reported by the C drive
directly, also add the space used up by files directly in c:\
