C Drive Properties Keep Showing Different Free Space Available Statistics

Hi all,

I've noticed a new symptom crop up which is confusing. When I take a look at
the properies of my C drive, I see that I keep getting very different
readings on how much free space I still have left on C. The properties
sometimes indicate 32 gig free and sometimes less than a gig free. It keeps
on changing all through the day with my computer on all day.

Can anyone suggest what I might check out to see troubleshoot this symptom,
or what might be causing it. I've done a full virus scan and Norton comes up
with a clear system.
