In setting up my new PC on the network, for some reason it asked for a user
name during setup and then finally booted with that name as an icon, the way
it does in XP Home. I changed it to be on a domain, and logged in with the
same name. Now there are two profiles on the PC,
C:\Documents and Settings\John Doe
and
C:\Documents and Settings\John Doe.XYZ

where XYZ in the domain name. All new settings, documents etc are now being
stored under John Doe.XYZ. I have deleted the local username John Doe, but
under Documents and Settings I am stuck with John Doe.XYZ.

Short of starting over on this PC, how can I set the John Doe.XYZ setting in
all instances to John Doe without effecting anything?

Thanks,
Mich
