to reduce the size of D: and add it to C: I only have one program running on

XP does not have the tools to do this. You'll need 3rd party software such
as BootIT NG from Terabyte Unlimited (30 day full featured trial version),
Partition Magic from Symantec or Acronis Disk Director from Acronis.
