Bypassing the Group Policy

Is there a way of bypassing the group policy at login,
the reason for my question is that recently a sys admin
applied/modified the group policies. in essence we have
2 policies 1 to restrict users from MMC access (defined
to Authenticated users), and the other to grant limited
access to various MMC snap-ins (defined to a group
Unrestricted Users). When I now go in to the AD Users
and Groups as a member of the Unrestricted Group and go
to properties for the domain I no longer get the Policy
Tab.

Is there a way of renabling default policies or bypassing
the currently configured policies.

Thanks

Johnathan

put your account in a new OU and block policy inheritance on it.
