sorry, what i mean is can i have the machine boot or go immediately to the
terminal server (rdp) login screen. i have a machine that is sorely lacking
in memory and hdd space and i want the 2 or 3 users to go immediately to the
terminal server for all their computing tasks. i thought about just setting
up a guest or user account on this pc and removing as much of the software
as i can.

The best way to do this is by replacing the local OS with a linux thin client
OS like ThinStation or PXES (both free), or one by 2X... 2X is giving away 5
licenses for their 2X ThinClient Server on a first come first server basis
until they give away 1 million licenses.
