When my computer finishes booting up I get an error
message that says: "C:\WINDOWS\bxxs5.dll Specified module
could not be found." Is this module important? and if
so, how do I restore it? This error message began to
appear after the computer was infected with several
viruses. Is it possible that this file has been
corrupted or that it is part of the virus?

This file is part of the spyware/virus that was removed. The pointer to this
file was not removed and this is why you are seeing this message at boot up.
Go to the following website and scroll down to number 3 under the Removal
Instructions. Follow these instructions to delete the specified value in the
Run key of the registry.

Thanks for the responses. I have never used a newsgroup,
have been out of town for a week, and just now checked
the response. Thanks to Rocky and Ron
