Maybe Epson is controlling their product line. I do not like Epson's
"chipped ink cartridges".
The Warranty has always been provided by the manufacturer.
If you buy a product from a brick and mortar store, then you can take it
back to the store, but the store sends it to the manufacturer to have it
repaired or exchanged or the store has a in store repair shop. The
manufacturer pays the store for any in Warranty repairs.
