Hi...
If my stepdaughter buys a laptop in Houston, can she still choose norwegian
language during the first startup installation?

Need answer shortly due to a upcoming flight....

The laptop will be pre-installed with English (United States).

Cheers,

Earle

Thanks u'all!

I am familiar with the MS Language pack.
My experience says it's not a proper permanent solution. At least not back
in the days of Office 2003 and earlier.

She just has to wait until she returns home for the holyday season.
Cheaper to buy the whole shalabang here in the finest country in the world!!

Again thank you. All of you..
I consider this case closed :-)

She'd not have had the ä, ö, and å on the keyboard anyway.

nope, because those are swedish... hehe...
In norway we're talking abut ASCII codes 145, 155, 134, 146, 157 and 143.
Look here http://www.fiskeklubben.org/charcters/digitized.html
The swedish ö in norway is a O with a slash across it...

Oops. I assumed they would be the same, as I my Finnish friend, Frej, said
they were, or at least I thought he did. I went to Sweden and Norway when I
was a kid. I have vivid memories of it, as it was very beautiful. I plan
to visit again sometime, when the UK Pound recovers from this mess.

Forget flat boring Sweden.
See the Norwegian fjods and galciers...
Feel the roar of the Northern Atlantic in your face at Atlanterhavsvegen....
Read all about it: http://www.atlanterhavsvegen.no/
Also in english...

The UK Pound wil continue to weaken even more, but probably saved by a
implementation of Euro on the british isles...
Hehehe....
It's eaither that or we can invade the islands once again and introduce the
Norwegian krone in stead....
But it's weak against the Euro too.
