time to buy a permanent program.
The 2010 edition won’t be out until mid next year.
Verizon.net switched my e-mail account to Outlook so that I have easier
access.
Looks like we need Microsoft Office Student + Outlook, which is Very
expensive for home use for a 2007 temporary edition.
Advice please. Spend over $300 for 2007 with Outlook, then next year put
out all lthat money again for 2010?
My goal is to have 2007 and have outlook until the new 2010 is available.
2007 is too complicated and not user friendly.

What makes you think 2010 is going to be any less complicated than 2007?
And why would you need to upgrade to 2010 once its avilable?
Outlook is a mail handler and as such you define whatever mail account
within Outlook, nothing to do with Verizon.
There are a number of free Mail Handler Programs, you may have one included
in whatever version of Windows you are using. eg Outlook Express, Windows
Live Mail etc

Eh? What do you mean by that?
If you have a retail copy of 2003, just uninstall the Trial version of 2007
and install your copy of 2003.

And why do you need to abandon Office 2003? You obviously don't have a good
plan going forward to version 2007 or 2010. You don't like the UI for 2007
so why would you want to move to it? You think 2010 is miraculously going
to revert to the UI for 2003? Changing UIs is how Microsoft cons consumers
into believing they have a new major version of their product.

Just uninstall the Office 2007 Trial and re-install your Office 2003 with Outlook.
Then wait for Office 2010

What's "Microsoft 2003"? There is no such product. Perhaps you mean Office
2003.

No they didn't. Verizon neither knows nor cares what mail client you use to
receive messages. Verizon cannot know you have Outlook and cannot "switch" to
it.

Outlook by itself is only about US $100.

Why would you need to put out any money for newer versions of Outlook is the
current version suits you?

Use Windows mail or other until 2010 arrives.
