I have buttons on several pages that are linked to pdf files. They worked
fine when I previewed in browser under the file menu, but when I published
the site, the links don't work and I get a 404 link error. what can i do to
get my pdf files linked to the buttons.

Thanks,
Rick

Sounds like you didn't actually save the Pdf to your web.

An easy way to do this would be to store them in a folder first off, copy
the folder and paste it into your web. Close FP and reopen. Now when you want
to link to one of them go through the normal hyperlink process, opening the
folder and selecting the Pdf.

I like to paste these types of things into my web via Windows explorer view.
Works fine.

Make sure you:

1) Publish the PDF files....

2) Have your web open and that the PDF files are "in" the web....(or)

3) Import the PDF files into your web.....
