I recently got a Business Inkjet 3000 printer. Having some troubles
with it and the printheads but I have ordered new ones (redtagtoner.com
has them the cheapest anywhere). WHile I was diagnosing the issue I got
to wondering what was on the Service Menu on the LCD front panel. I
went looking for the PIN needed to get into the service manu.

I did some hunting around and found that a LaserJet 4200 Service Menu
PIN was 11420002
Then I found that a LaserJet 4300 Service Menu PIN was 11430002

Sure enough for the Business Inkjet 3000 (3000n and 3000dtn) the PIN
was 11300002

That discovered, all there is there are things like the ability to
reset color and black page counts, clear event logs and set the name
and serial number. Actually there is one more thing and thats related
to what a default paper size is on factory reset and that is either
letter or A4 so european users may find this info useful.

I also found that taking the printheads in and out a bunch of times
ruins them. The contacts on the printheads cannot take a lot of in out
extractions and insertions. They wear badly until they fail to contact.
$expensive lesson.
