I have Windows Vista and just upgraded my office from 2000 to 2007 because my
outlook did not work anymore. Now after loading 2007, as I open Outlook, I
get an immediate message: BCM:Cannot complete selected action due to external
error. If I click ok, BCM stops working and then when I try to enter a task,
I get another error: messaging interface has returned an unknown error. I
didn't even buy the Office with BCM, it just came with it - now I wish I
didn't have it. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

If you dont want to use BCM just uninstall it via Add/Remove its a seperate
entry "BCM"

And if you upgraded an existing Outlook / Office 2k installation, create a
new Mail Profile - not copy the old
