Business Contact Manager crashes after fresh install

I installed Office SMB 2003 on a pc that had Windows XP freshly installed,
but when I start Outlook the BCM crashes. During the install it asked to set
up a new database which I did, then when it is finished and switches back to
Outlook my BCM crashes. I get an option to restart it but it crashes. If I
uncheck "Restart Business Contact Manager" then Outlook does not open, when I
restart Outlook and BCM crashes again. SQL server does not appear to be
started but I do not get an option to select this computer when attempting to
start. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
