I am trying to set up a new user with access to our BCM database. When I go
to create the offline database it fails every time and gives me a message:

"Business contact manager could not complete your last request." I then
have to attempt to set up the offline db again, or I can just opt to have no
offline database which is not acceptable. How do I fix this???

That's BCM default error message, when it doesn't have somehting more
specific to report.

You could try turning on logging, in the BCM About dialog, and see if
the log has more detailed messages on what's failing.

You could also try setting up a private database on this machine. If
that also fails, then the problem isn't specific to offline, and you
may get a more informative error message.

Luther,

Thanks for your insight. I'll check it out. Hopefully we can discover
something.
