Javier:

Yes, BCM will work with SQL Standard 2005. While there is not a hard limit
to the number of BCM users, I would recommend no more than 25. This is
assuming that you have robust hardware, RAM, and a LAN.

The move to Dynamics CRM is not based as much on users as on functionality.
If you want more customization, the workflow engine, and integration with
Exchange, then Dynamics is for you.

HTH,
Lon

BCM is designed to be responsive for up to five shared users with
decent hardware.

With more users, BCM requires a lot of hardware on the server in order
to remain responsive because every client is going to be try to
refersh itself once every second. Once it takes longer than a second
for the database server to respond to every BCM client, BCM's
performance will quickly go downhill.

BCM performance will also depend on the workload from the shared
clients. If most users only use BCM to look up customer phone numbers,
then performance should be OK for all users, but users are running
reports across all the data, then it will get sluggish.
