Business Card Software

Looking for software that will allow one to compose and print business
cards, including the ability to insert graphics/logos. I've scanned
Pricelessware site, but no luck.

MSWord will print to standard Avery 8376, but text only. Can't insert
logos without MAJOR custom composition. I've done that for labels with
graphics: don't want to do it again!

Many thanks,

Stranger

I've had very good success with Avery's design pro 5.0 limited edition.
It's here:

Yea;

This sucker is a PIG. They must've hired an ex-M$ codewriter...Anyway,
I forgot to mention that there is one drawback: Proprietary file format.

The way I got around this was by "printing" to my pdfcreator and then
opening up the pdf in...I think, irfanview. I know (OT)photoshop can do it.

Ennywho, bottom line, even with the file format it does do the job well.

Mel,

thanks very much for the link. You know, 'sfunny: I could see those
entries when I did a search for "business cards"; but, when I opened the
"Business-Home" listings, I didn't get the same format as when I used
your link. Not sure why, but anyway, I NOW see the proggies.

Many thanks again.

I'm sure that OpenOffice.org will do it if you format the page properly
for the correct paper type.

(expletive deleted) Google. . .

Google is showing links to the text files that are used to create the PHP pages and (mostly) NOT
showing the PHP pages themselves. When I first set up the subdirectory searches they worked
beautifully. . . showed the PHP pages. . . I dunno what (if anything) I can do - suggestions
welcome. Meanwhile I suggest you start with the Program Index page and/or Category Index page and
use "find". That will get you to the proper links.

There's a business card app on the Webware page that might be of interest:

The PCman Website
http://www.thepcmanwebsite.com/busin..._creator.shtml
Create then print cards - use your own image or one of ours; select typeface; text color; backgrounds.
