Bus-powered USB hub problem

I've got a bus-powered SUB hub which Win 2000 will only
recognize as "self-powered" -- this happens if I use the
generic hub driver AND if I use the Fujitsu "Bus-powered"
Hub driver with Windows. I think it's causing my problems
getting devices like keyboards and mice to work on the hub
after hibernation--I think the bus is cutting power
because it thinks the devices are on a self-powered hub.
Any suggestions? (Can I set the power config. to Bus-
powered?)
