i want to burn some music from a friends puter . he's on DSL but has an ancient burner; i have 48x but am on dial-up

what would allow fastest transfer rate. could i use the remote assistance to any value?

DSL does not affect how fast your burner can create CD's.

true, but my dial-up bottlenecks if doing just a transfer of files & his burner is too slow to just do a burn @ his house
