Using Windows XP Pro --- Windows Media Player, or Pacific Digital's
Player.
When the CD player displays "unknown" for the song title and author, is it
possible for us to add the correct title info when burning a backup CD?

If you allow MP (at least with MP10) to access the internet, and burn whilst
online (obviously) it will attempt to download the information for you -
maybe your other player works the same way?

Hi,

Generally, that metadata is part of the original rip from the CD. You would
need to have the file reripped to include the data.
