Yes, just this week I found a reproduceable bug in CDBurnerXP that made
my DVD+RW unreadable when adding to an existing session.

Haven't tried DeepBurner yet.

Yes, a problem here last evening with CDBurnerXP Pro 3. It quit!
Wouldn't even recognize the drive! I used another program and carried on
with my on-going project. I used AVS Disk Creator. It's ok, simple and
straight-forward interface but s-l-o-w in comparison to CDBurnerXP Pro 3.

Nero does it dependably. Hopefully we'll find a comparable freeware
alternative.

It doesn't for me, when using DVD's. CD-R/RWs, yes, but not DVD-Rs. It
pops up a dialogue box warning that the subsequent session may not be
accessible on some systems and gives the option to continue anyway. If
I continue, it doesn't see the prior sessions on the DVD and I'm
afraid of whiping it, so I end up burning on a new DVD-R.
