Does anyone know why a music CD won't play on any
standard CD players after burning it using Windows Media
Player 8 (Windows XP)? CD plays fine on the XP system,
however.

You probably need to finalize the disk, which you would normally do once the
disk is full. Once finalized, no more music can be recorded onto it. Also,
there are still many stand-alone players out there that won't play CD-R
disks.
