All files burned using standard CD Mastering are marked as Read Only.
I mean after all, on a CD-R, how can you overwrite a file - when the
media can't be rewritten?

BTW, this attribute is set whether using a CDR or a CDRW when
Mastering.

The ONLY way to avoid that is to use a packet-writing program like
InCD or Roxio Drag-to-CD and a CDRW. However, that's a topic for a
different newsgroup since it's not an XP OS topic.
