I have been burnin three different WMM slideshows unto one DVD with Roxio MY
DVD 8. It is taking hours to burn each one-is there any way to make this
process go faster?

What speed burner and what speed DVDs are you using? I had been using the 2x
DVD burner that came with my machine a few years ago until I discovered that
I couldn't get DVDs that speed anymore. Bought a new burner for much
cheaper than the first one and wish I'd done it long ago. Whoa, what a
difference! So very much faster!

I guess what I am trying to say, the movie is about 45 minutes, and that is
about how long it takes to make each copy. I was hoping to have the copy
process be alot faster.

The whole process has sped up for me since I got a faster burner and faster
DVDs. What speed burner do you have, do you know?

Make an image to the HDD. That means you have to render only one time, not
each time you burm a DVD. Then make copies from the image, it should only
take a few minutes.

How do you make an image file? Is this done in WMM or MyDVD?

I'm not sure about MyDVD, but with Roxio, it is one of the choices when
burning. You can choose to burn to DVD or to create an image that you will
later load and burn to DVD.
