I'm using Pinnacle Expression to try and burn a DVD from
a 17 Min. Movie Maker project. After 2-weeks of E-Mailing
back and forth with Pinnacle tech support I still can't
get it to work. What software would you recommend that is
easy to use yet versatile. I want to archive my home
movies and share the DVD's with my family. Jim

I've had no problems with Roxio's EZCD DVD Creator (www.roxio.com) and lots
of folks like SonicMyDVD....

Have a look at www.dvdrhelp.com for even more.

I would also add that Pinnacle (and I own Studio 8, and expression) is
probably the most crash prone software I have ever used. I have never gotten
it to edit correctly.
If it wasn't for MM2 I would have given up trying to save old memories.
Just my 2 cents.

You may want to try converting your saved Movie Maker project to an MPEG2 file before DVD authoring. I have found that TMPGEnc is an excellent program to perform the conversion to MPEG2. Save your MM file as a DV-AVI. Then use TMPGEnc to convert the file to MPEG2. Then import the converted file into your DVD authoring software.
