I am experiencing problems using both Media Player & iTunes to burn audio CD's.

The audio CD's produced will play ok on one Hi-Fi system but do not operate
on others, portable devices or the car stereo. Is there something within
properties/settings that I may have overlooked.

I am using the latest version of Media Player and the devices that do not
read the CD's are of varied age (Between 6 mths & 3 years old)

It depends on the format of the music you've copied to the CD. Most portable
players will play MP3, but all home and car stereos do not. You may need to
convert those files to whatever format they are compatible with. Below are
free major websites to download coverters and there are hundreds more.
CDex :: Home

Audacity (sound file editor)

MediaMonkey Free MP3 Jukebox Player, Converter, Music Library Organizer

It might be the *type* of recordable CD you are using to record your audio
CDs on to... mine work when they're CD-Rs, but not when they're CD-RWs...

Hope this help!
