Hi,
Anyone know of good 3rd party software that will allow you to make a
copy of your entire pc-o.s. and all-to a dvd? Tried Acronis True Image
9.0;and it may be great-but it's not simple. Basically want to be able to
make a dvd and be able to burn iso files to a dvd;of my entire pc and if I
download an iso file;to burn it to a dvd. Have a new laptop with dual layer
8x dvd rw and need a simple program. Any help?
Jeff

Disk imaging, by its nature, is not a simple concept. True Image is a solid
imaging program. Other good imaging programs are Norton Ghost (or its
recently introduced successor, Norton Save and Restore) and Terabyte
Unlimited's Image for Windows. Don't expect any of these programs to be
simple. However, disc imaging is extremely worthwhile, and well worth your
effort to learn how it's done.

An ISO file is an image of a CD or DVD. You might want to create an ISO file
on your hard disk, but you wouldn't be creating one on a DVD.

If Acronis True Image isn't simple enough for you, then maybe you
shouldn't be using a computer.
