Have you always used the same brand of blank DVD?
If you are trying to direct copy the CD to a DVD, that won't work, you must
first copy it to the hard drive and then from the hard drive to the DVD.
Roxio (and all the other third party applications) will only copy like to
like... ie CD to CD and DVD to DVD.
