Hello,
I'm ghaving problems burning CD's.
I have XP Pro
Pent3
512 RAM
LG CD-RW CED-8120B CD burner
The problem is that I can only burn CD-RW's
and not CR-R's
I've reinstalled the drivers and performed
a system restore.
Any suggestions before I scrap it and but another one?

Have tried only one brand of CD-Rs? You may want to try a different brand.

Also, what software are you using? You could try oout another software.

Yes I've tried Memorex and TDK. Though I've used Memorex for years an had no
problem with them. The same problem occurs when using Windows Media Player,
Music Match, and the software that comes with XP
