Hi guys,

Need some help here. Recently, I bought a notebook that comes with the
Windows XP Media Center Edition. I can record TV programmes onto my
harddrive, but how do I record it into DVDs as DVD video disc to be viewed on
my DVD player? When I select the video files to be burned onto DVD, it goes
straight to the page that ask me to key in the name. I do not see the page
where it ask if I want it to create a 'Data DVD' or 'Video DVD' disc. Help! =(

Use third party software like Roxio 8, Nero 7 or PowerDirector 5.

It might depend on the Brand of computer but my HP Media center has a default
burner built in. I clicked around in the guide until I found the thing I
wanted on DVD then I Right clicked it (title) and the MC asked whether to
make DVD. BTW mine names it (the recorded program) by itself and so far I
have not changed any names.
When I start burning from my camcorder, I imagine it will be different
Hope that helps a little bit.
