How to burn an ISO image, using Win XP

I downloaded Win XP SP3 as a CD image with the .iso extension. I would like
to retain it on a CD for future upgrades.

Can I use Windows XP to burn this image to a CD? How would I do that?

I have an old version of Nero Burning. If Windows cannot burn an ISO image,
can I use Nero?

Sorry, I am pretty ignorant about this ISO burning stuff.

No you can't use XP vanilla to burn an ISO. You should be able to use Nero,
and there are a few bits of free burning software that will allow you to do
this. Google is your friend, or a DVD hardware forum.

http://club.cdfreaks.com/ would be a good forum to look at.

Windows does not do it natively.

Yes, Nero will work. I prefer CD Burner XP (free) http://cdburnerxp.se/

XP won't do it.

http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm

Get the ISO Recorder V2 for XP SP2 at above site.
I use it with XP SP3, no probs.

Once you have installed it, right click on the ISO file>"Copy Image to CD"
