I use MusicMatch 8.0 to burn .wma files to a CD-R and it
appears to have no problem while burning the songs but
once it gets to 'Finishing CD', the MusicMatch CD Burner
windown hangs.

I can end the process through Task Mgr but the CD will
still not eject (no matter how I try). I then reboot and
as its shutting down I get a Page Fault Fatal Error (Blue
Screen of Death) and I have to power down the PC
completey. When I start it back up I am able to eject CD
and all the music is on the CD as it should be.

One more thing, as system is shutting down it finds that
there is a DirectCD process which it needs to end. Is this
whats causing the system to crash?

Some advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

Sounds like you haven't updated your version of EZCD Creator. Updates can

Thanks for the response. I'll give it a shot.

I might be pushing my luck, but why is EZCD even trying to
do anything when I'm using MusicMatch? Should I just
uninstall EZCD or is that next to impossible?
