They dont seem to b e related to service pack. To verify what app/service is
creatin them, download and run filemon.exe or process monitor from
http://www.sysinternals.com and check what is creating them. If they are not
getting deleted, then use handle.exe to check what has a handle on these
files.
It is highly recommended to check teh system for virus,worm or malware
through
http://safety.live.com
