I have a weird problem in PowerPoint XP. Bullets are
cutoff and numbered bullets are missing when running
slideshow. Slides look fine in layout and if I export to
html. Anyone else seen this problem? I have service pack 1
and 2 installed. Any help anyone can contribute is greatly
appreciated. I can send a copy of the powerpoint if anyone
knows how to fix this issue and need to see what I am
working with.

Thanks,

Try changing your hardware acceleration.

If that doesn't do the trick, try updating your video drivers.

Bruce,

we have the same problem - I posted the question on
Monday, see:

It seems "Wipe" (and maybe other types) Custom Animation
for bulleted lists gets broken going from PP 2000 to PP
2002 - but I have not been able to verify this

I have had this problem. I found that I can correct the problem by
adjusting the position of the Text box. If the box is too close to the left
edge of the slide, the bullet (a dot) will be cut in half. This solution
may require that you reduce the horizontal dimension of the text box.
Remember, you want to follow the six-pack rule for text on a slide (no more
than six bullets per slide and no more than six words per bullet) for an
effective presentation. Let us know if this works for you.

Regards;
David
