I am trying to create a bulletted outline, and there was one indented bullet
where i used a numbered list, because i had to, and then i go to indent on
another bullet and i get numbers... I dont want numbers, and i cant seem to
fix this issue, i have tried other things i have found in this forum, but
nothing has worked. I am using word 07.

On the Home tab, click the Multilevel List button, and then click Define New
Multilevel List. For each level, at "Number style for this level," pick one
of the predefined bullets, or click the "New bullet" option to specify any
character you like.

You can click the More button and then link each level to a paragraph style
("Link level to style" box); you don't have to do this, but it makes the
outline more stable, and more easy to handle too.
